The Russian division of the developer of the program for 3D design of buildings and design Autodesk notified about the beginning of the liquidation procedure. According to them, as part of the liquidation, it is planned to dismiss all employees of the Russian division.
“LLC Autodesk (CIA) … notifies that the sole participant has made a decision to liquidate and appoint a liquidator Ponomarev Sergey Vladimirovich,” the message says on “Fedresource”. The decision was made at the end of November, the notification was published the day before, on December 14. The company notes that creditors’ claims can be submitted within two months.
Autodesk amid the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine in March suspended their activities in the Russian Federation. The company did not rule out additional restrictions in the expansion of sanctions.
The chairman of the board of directors of Basalt SPO, Alexei Smirnov, told Kommersant that the Russian office of Autodesk mainly consisted of program sales managers, and not developers. According to him, only 30% of companies in Russia use similar domestic software.
