London’s High Court has ruled that Australian computer scientist and entrepreneur Craig Wright is not Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto, reports Wired.

“The evidence is overwhelming,” said Judge James Mellor. “Dr. Wright is not the author of the Bitcoin White Paper. Dr. Wright is not the one who ran the network under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. Dr. Wright is not the one who created Bitcoin. And he is not the author of the Bitcoin software.”

The lawsuit against the Australian was filed in February by the non-profit organization Crypto Open Patent Alliance, which asked the court to prohibit Craig Wright from calling himself Satoshi Nakamoto. Wright has been trying to be recognized as the creator of Bitcoin since 2015. However, the Australian was unable to provide any evidence of this.

The reasoning part of the London court’s decision should be published in about a month.
