Atrium European Real Estate closes deal to sell Russian assets

The deal to sell Russian assets to Atrium European Real Estate (AERE) has been closed. The buyer is Ramo-M, a member of the Romex Group holding. This was told to Vedomosti by a representative of the Romex Group. According to him, seven Park House shopping and entertainment centers with a total area of 420,000 sq. m in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Volgograd and Tolyatti. The first deputy general director of Romex-Kuban, Konstantin Tomenko, explained that the deal itself is “indefinite”, the ownership of it is transferred permanently. Earlier, the Kommersant newspaper reported that the agreement between the parties may include an option to buy shopping centers back.
The fact that Ramo-M became the owner of Park Houses is also known to one of the consultants who worked with these shopping centers. AERE did not respond to Vedomosti’s request. A spokesman for CORE.XP, which is acting as an advisor to the deal, declined to comment.
