At a show in Moscow, Zivert changed hits, outfits and star men

After the release of two very generous hit albums from Zivert, it was quite logical to expect a show of solid scope. The other day, the singer showed just such a performance in Moscow. Frequent requests for extra tickets on the outskirts of the hall clearly hinted at the great excitement that is going on around the artist.
It took two months to stage the Love Station show, and in the process, a short documentary series Zivert. Do for love ”, in which the singer talks in detail about what happened to her and is happening. All this gave a very clear idea of the ambitions of the artist and her team, so when the lights went out in the hall and the introduction sounded, the public probably had the most daring expectations about the further development of events. And these expectations began to be justified with the appearance on the stage of the ballet, from which three football teams could easily be recruited. The first track of the show was “Shine”, and the stage, along with the main character of the evening, really shone.
As Zivert and all the musicians and dancers involved in the show made their way through the set list, it became clear that we now have our own local Madonna. Not a pop figure, not a singing blogger, but a singer who is passionate about pop music, made on modern software, but as if according to the patterns of the eighties and nineties.
Hits from Zivert began to shake the charts four years ago, and even then it seemed that the new artist was not playing by modern rules. Vintage sound, English-language choruses and the songs themselves, much more reminiscent of nostalgia for the golden days of MTV than stamped tiktok-pop declared terribly fashionable. Bogdan Leonovich, as the main author and music producer, certainly managed to find a sound that perfectly suits the singer’s timbre, and then all this was supplemented with the image of a bright pop diva. However, as it turns out, this is not such an image. “I always knew that I would be a star,” Zivert likes to repeat in interviews, and such statements also seem to be from an era when pop idols intrigued and provoked.
The singer clearly did not want to turn her show into fierce high-tech. There are only two screens for close-ups, and the main scenery looked more like light music. This is a very sophisticated system, it starts almost at the ceiling, ends on the floor of the stage, and this arrangement gives the illusion of volumetric lighting effects. Perhaps the video wall has more possibilities, but lately the big screen has somehow become boring, and the unusual light against the background of total multimedia looks very fresh. The scenery in the form of stairs, small podiums, plinths made from old TVs and structures imitating a subway car were taken out and removed by hand, which also gave the action a kind of vintage look.
And yet not so frequent for pop concerts conversational genre. Sometimes the pauses between songs reached several minutes, during which the singer spoke very warmly about family, close friends, romance and love. The artist’s speech was not always well thought out and structured, but it sounded so sincere that the audience constantly broke into applause.
Probably, having “Credo”, “Life”, “Green Waves” and other hit-bombs in the arsenal, one can do without special guests, but this evening the audience was clearly not kept on a diet. Zivert recorded the track “Two Tourists” with the Italian singer Wiwo, whom she calls a real miracle and a gift of fate on the Web. This song is not exactly with an eye on the charts, but at a concert it is very appropriate, and even a real Italian in Moscow at the present time is almost an alien guest.
In the small creative association “Family”, formed around the singer, a new artist named LYRIQ has already appeared. Together they recorded the song “Forever Young” and performed it as a duet on the show. Vydyhay became a collaboration with the rock band Three Days of Rain from Tuva, whose leader Gleb Viktorov also joined Zivert on stage for a very dramatic number. For Mot (the joint track with Zivert is called “Sails”), Basta (together with the singer recorded the sensational hit “Don’t Get Pain”), NILETTO (“Fly 2” remains a win-win offer for dance floors) and Dima Bilan (for the duet they chose Bilan’s “It Was Love”) dramas are not quite in the profile, and their outputs simply pleased the girls and fans of radio hits.
Zivert herself left the stage only for the sake of changing her image, entrusting the audience to her ballet with very sweeping choreographic numbers. Despite all the words spoken from the stage by both the main star of the evening and her guests, the show contained a lot of music ranging from disco to Latino. The audience clearly had something to sing and dance to, which both the democratic parterre and the VIP succeeded in. Hoodies and sweatpants this evening were incredibly close to expensive jackets and dresses, which, of course, can be described as a happy end.
