Asmus returns to the 90s, Snigir and Shvedov play passion in tango rhythm

Melodrama, detective, mysticism and immersion in other historical eras remain the most popular genres in the local serial industry. Sometimes these genres also complement each other, as happened in projects whose filming started the other day.

Kristina Asmus walks along the beach in a slightly old-fashioned white raincoat and looks so hard not to pay attention to her. Despite her elegant appearance, the actress did not come to the Gulf of Finland for the sake of relaxation. Together with Semyon Litvinov, Oleg Garkusha, Daniil Vorobyov and other actors, Christina is starring in a new series, which takes place in the nineties.

The actress plays the owner of a video rental store located in a half-abandoned cinema. In the story, her little son disappears, but in the process of searching for him, mysticism unexpectedly bursts in, and along with the crime bosses and the fugitive criminal, the ghosts of the old cinema suddenly appear in the environment of the main character.

Kristina Asmus is one of those actresses who quite easily manages to change genres and not complain about a boring role. This year alone, the series “Sansara” and “Regional Center” have already been released, where she played the main roles, and right now there are four more projects in the works. In addition to the mystical detective, Christina stars in two comedies and a family fantasy.

Yulia Snigir also looks her best during a walk in the area of ​​the Patriarch’s Ponds. Actually, this is what her role in the new mystical melodrama requires. The actress plays a businesswoman with an iron grip, and she grasps everything not only at work, but also in the family. However, after the unexpected death of her husband, it turns out that the husband secretly visited a tango club, where he found new emotions and love. In an effort to find out as much as possible about the second life of her deceased husband, the office fury discovers a completely new world for herself. The late husband, meanwhile, begins to be reflected in the mirrors.

Both Yulia Snigir and Denis Shvedov, who played the husband of the main character, have repeatedly starred in films, the plot of which is also devoted to skeletons in the closets of respectable-looking people. But this time dancing will also be added to the psychology of relationships. Moreover, some fragments of the characters’ stories will be conveyed through the language of dance, which presupposes, at a minimum, that the actors are in excellent physical shape.

In St. Petersburg, meanwhile, completely different film passions are flaring up. Near the famous palaces, carriages and people appeared in outfits dating back more than two centuries. They began filming a series about Emperor Alexander I in historical locations. The director of the project, Artem Nasybulin, talks about a thorough historical study of the script, but still admits that the future series, like any feature film, should not be considered as a history textbook.

However, the creators of the series want to convey the main signs of the times quite accurately. Alexander’s liberal views collide with the domineering nature of his mother and the intrigues of the aristocrats; in addition, the threat of war with Napoleon becomes very credible.

Evgeny Romantsov plays the role of Alexander. Along with him, a whole bastion of Russian stars will appear in the frame, including Anna Banshchikova, Philip Ershov, Anna Snatkina, Daniil Spivakovsky, Artyom Tkachenko, Vladislav Tsenev, Anya Chipovskaya, Yuri Chursin and others.

Marina Alexandrova and Kuzma Saprykin don’t need to dress up in historical outfits, but they have to do everything to make the comedy they’re starring in turn out funny. Marina and Kuzma play a couple with an age difference, and if in Moscow, where the characters met as boss and subordinate, this circumstance bothers few people, then in the young man’s hometown everything is exactly the opposite.

A visit to your small homeland in order to introduce your chosen one to your parents results in a lot of piquant situations. The twenty-year age difference (in fact, Marina is only thirteen years older than Kuzma) is perceived with hostility by provincial inhabitants, but this, as it turns out, is not the main problem. Very soon the ex-girlfriend of the hero Saprykin appears on the horizon, and the father of her boyfriend and neighbor begin to show active interest in the heroine Alexandrova.

For Marina Alexandrova, comedy is not the most obvious genre. At least recently, fans have become accustomed to seeing their favorite actress in the outfits of Empress Catherine or in the scenery of some heartbreaking drama. However, the actress herself says that she has long wanted to have fun and the new project is perfect for this.
