Apple shares rose 2.1% at the end of Tuesday’s trading, and their price was $193.42. As a result, the company’s market capitalization exceeded $3 trillion for the first time since August 2. Now it is $3.009 trillion.
Apple’s capitalization first reached $3 trillion in January 2022. However, then the market capitalization of the iPhone manufacturer only touched this mark during trading, and at the end of the trading day it was still less. Apple managed to end the trading day with a value above $3 trillion on June 30 – it became the first corporation in the world to reach this mark.
Since the beginning of the year, Apple shares are up almost 50%. At the same time, for the last financial year ended September 31, the company’s revenue and net profit decreased by 3% – to $383.3 billion and $97 billion, respectively, and a drop in revenue was noted in each of the four quarters of the financial year.
