“When any, even the largest technology company, says that for ideological reasons it refuses to cooperate with the national intelligence community, this means one of two things: a) it is shamelessly lying or b) it is about to close. Miracles do not happen,” said Dmitry Medvedev (quoted by TASS).
According to the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council, it is necessary for all owners of smartphones to take into account these factors. “Be it Apple products with iOS closed to all users, or Samsung with Android open to third-party applications.
