The apple and blueberry producer Kolos Kubani, where 50% belongs to a structure that was previously associated with the family of Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, has a new co-owner. Half of the company went to the Kolos enterprise, which is developing agribusiness in the Stavropol Territory together with the structures of the President of the Arnest Group of Companies Alexei Sagal, who bought out the Russian facilities of Heineken. Stavropol JSC “SHP “Kolos”” became the owner of 50% of the agricultural enterprise “Kolos Kubani”, where the remaining 50% belonged to CJSC “Dynasty”. The corresponding changes were made to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities on December 8. Previously, Vladislav Ponamarenko was a co-owner of Kolos Kuban.
At the time of the creation of “Ear of Kuban” in 2018, the owner of “Dynasty” was listed in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities as Valentin Manturov, the full namesake of the father of Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov. In 2019, Valentin Manturov died; the current owner of Dynasty is not disclosed in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. “Kolos Kubani” grows grain and is engaged in gardening on 1.8 thousand hectares, according to the company’s vacancy on the JCat ad service. The head of the Crimean region, Sergei Les, reported in the Telegram channel in 2022 that Kolos Kuban invested more than 1.7 billion rubles. to plant 84 hectares of gardens and plant blueberries, and plans to invest 3.5 billion rubles in the business in total. SHP “Kolos” is one of the founders of the Kazminsky dairy plant (brand “Dairy Legend”), where Stavropol Agrosoyuz LLC owns a share. The co-owner of the latter is Alexey Sagal, president of the Arnest Group of Companies, which produces household chemicals and cosmetics (brands Symphony, Prelest, etc.), aluminum cans and in 2023 bought out the Russian facilities of Heineken. Mr. Sagal was named as a shareholder of the Kolos agricultural enterprise in the company’s 2008 report. Now the owners of agricultural enterprise “Kolos” are not disclosed. A representative of Alexei Sagal told Kommersant that the businessman does not own this enterprise. It was not possible to contact Dynasty and Vladislav Ponamarenko. Fruit tree seedlings for intensive gardens need to be renewed once every 12–15 years, and the main suppliers previously were Italy, Serbia and Poland, she points out.
The head of the Berry Union, Irina Koziy, calls growing blueberries one of the fastest growing areas of the industry. She estimates the volume of blueberry consumption in the Russian Federation at more than 12 thousand tons per year, of which more than 85% of the market is imported. The potential for increasing the production of this berry is very large, but, Ms. Koziy adds, it is difficult to assess the profitability of the business, since there are few blueberry plantations in Russia that have reached full fruiting.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service received a request from Alliance LLC for preliminary consent to the acquisition of the Agro-Invest greenhouse complex and the Moe Leto trading house associated with the enterprise. Kommersant found this information in the department’s materials, which talk about the approval of the application for the purchase of the Moe Leto trade house.
The area of the Agro-Invest complex is 105 hectares, where tomatoes and cucumbers are grown under the Moe Leto brand. As follows from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the main owner of the enterprise is the Avilon Group of Companies of Alexander Varshavsky, which is engaged in the sale of cars, real estate, etc.
Alliance LLC is controlled by Maxim Mikheev. On the CFO Russia portal, he is named as the director of the department of economic management and control of the ECO-Culture Agricultural Holding, one of the main producers of greenhouse vegetables with complexes covering an area of 500 hectares. Alexander Rudakov, representative of the Avilon Group of Companies and co-owner of ECO-culture, said that Maxim Mikheev does not work at ECO-culture.
