Shooting the sixth season of the popular series has become a real adventure for the creators of the project. The film crew worked in a prison, the leading actors did almost all the stunts themselves, including moving around in rather specific shoes.
After Major Pavel Semyonov shot dead a drunken hooligan who threatened others with a toy gun, the court arrested the policeman. Tatyana Belova is forced to resign from the police. Left without a livelihood, she decides to start looking for fugitives from justice, for whose capture a reward has been appointed.
Lieutenant Colonel Okunko heads the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Central District of St. Petersburg and invites Andrei Mikhailov to work, who, to the displeasure of his future wife Inga Krylova, decides to continue serving in the authorities. General Arseniev enters into a protracted conflict with Gennady Lyubimov. After the death of State Duma deputy Kharitonov, both claim his place in the lower house of the Federal Assembly.
The investigators manage to establish that the killer liquidated by Denis Somov was never connected with the group of “Architects”. This means that a dangerous criminal is still at large. Only one person can get on the trail of the killer, Major Pavel Semenov, who is in a pre-trial detention center and who faces several years in prison in a strict regime colony.
The writers of “Nevsky” did their best, and there was no time to be bored on the set of the new season. “This season, the coolest location was the Kresty prison,” says Igor Draka, director of the series. – For the first ten episodes, Anton Vasiliev is in prison. We filmed in “Crosses” – this is a mothballed prison, there are no prisoners there, but by some miracle they gave us access to this facility. Everything was filmed in real mode, without embellishment.
For Anton Vasiliev, who returned to the role of Major Semenov, these shootings became a new experience, because he had to go to a real prison. “He kissed the children in the morning and said: “Dad is going to work.” And he went to prison to shoot, ”recalls the actor. “Even touching this world a little, you begin to double appreciate the minutes spent in freedom next to loved ones.”
In addition, Anton himself starred in most of the stunt scenes. Stuntmen changed it only in episodes when Major Semenov had to jump from tall buildings or in complex car scenes. Actress Victoria Maslova, who plays Tatyana Belova, also tried to do without understudies.
“My heroine is waiting for a lot of new adventures, and it will take a lot of willpower and character to overcome all the difficulties,” says the actress. – There will be many more scenes where I have to use force, it’s not easy, but it keeps me on my toes. Also in the new season, I put on strips (dance shoes with high heels and a high platform), and my task was not to kill myself in them.
