The film musical as a genre usually causes concern among local producers. Organically filling the plot with music and making it an integral part of everything that happens in the frame is not at all easy. Even choosing songs can be an overwhelming task.
However, the success of “Dandies” and the two parts of the film “Ice” seem to have an inspiring effect, besides, nostalgia for the nineties rediscovered the hits of that time.
In the new project, the musical love story unfolds in retro resort interiors. According to the plot, a young man, along with his parents, comes to rest and becomes the hero of a sanatorium musical performance. Together with him, the main local beauty participates in the production. Further deceit and love under the sauce of the hits of the nineties, in general, the “Moulin Rouge” in the Russian sanatorium.
Our Romeo and Juliet are played by Vladislav Prokhorov, known from the TV series “Correction and Punishment”, and Anfisa Chernykh, who quite clearly declared herself in the film “The Geographer Drank His Globe Away” and the TV series “Great Expectations”. The full soundtrack of the musical film is still kept secret, but it is already known that the hits of the Spleen and Chizh and Co bands will sound in the film.
