Anatoly Kozlachkov became the new head of the Association of Russian Banks – Kommersant

Following the results of the VI Congress, Vice-President of the Association of Banks of Russia (ADB) Anatoly Kozlachkov was elected head of the association. Mr. Kozlachkov’s candidacy was accepted unanimously. This is reported with reference to the decision of the congress TASS. Prior to this, the head of the association was Georgy Luntovsky, who held this position since 2017. He died at the age of 74 on March 10.

Previously, Chairman of the ADB Council Anatoly Aksakov reportedthat Anatoly Kozlachkov was recommended for appointment as head of the association.

Mr. Kozlachkov has served as Vice President since 2017. He oversaw the legal direction of ADB. The new head of the association graduated from the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov in 1990. From 1994 to 2000 he worked at the Central Bank. Since 2000, he has been engaged in private legal practice. Mr. Kozlachkov took part in the development of the laws currently in force on the Central Bank, on banks and banking activities.
