The strengthening of anti-Russian sanctions in 2022 increased the pressure on the oil industry of the Russian Federation. As a result, Russian companies had to redirect energy resources from the European market to Asiatic. The largest buyers of oil from the Russian Federation were India and China. At the same time, India, which bought small batches of Russian oil before the start of the NWO in Ukraine, increased imports by 33 times over the year to 1.2 million barrels per day in December 2022, Bloomberg reported on January 16, citing data from Vortexa. China, according to the country’s Main Customs Administration, for 11 months of 2022 increased oil imports from the Russian Federation by 10.2% to 79.8 million tons.
