Hollywood legend Steve Martin may be ready to retire. He has worked in the industry for over 60 years. He starred in the show “Saturday Night Live”, played in the films “Father of the Bride”, “Pink Panther”, “Sgt. Bilko” and “Dirty Scoundrels”.
Now he plays in the Hulu series Murders in the Same Building, which has been renewed for a third season. His detective story partners were his longtime friend Martin Shore and singer Selena Gomez. Steve Martin is the winner of Emmy and Grammy awards for acting, producing and writing.
Martin has stated that when the series ends, he will not be looking for a new job or doing a cameo. True, the actor quoted his wife, and left his fans some hope.
“My wife is always saying, ‘You’re always going to retire and then you come up with something,’” Steve Martin clarified.
He stressed that he really wants to work less. With Steve Martin re-nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Character in a Comedy Series for his role as Charles Hayden-Savage in the hit Hulu, he might change his mind.
