Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoy said that since April Minsk will receive funds from the reverse excise tax (tax deduction) in oil refining. This corresponds to the agreements of the countries within the framework of the implementation of the union integration program in the tax sphere.
“From this month, Belarus will start receiving money from the compensation of the reverse excise duty in accordance with the agreements that were reached last year as part of the implementation of the union integration program in the tax sphere,” Dmitry Krutoy quotes BELTA.
Russia and Belarus agreed on allied integration programs in September 2021. In 2022, the Ministries of Finance of the countries concluded an agreement on the general principles of taxation for indirect taxes. It is he who assumes that Belarusian enterprises receive the reverse excise tax according to uniform rules.
In November 2022, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Pyotr Parkhomchik said that Belarusian refineries provided the opportunity to supply petroleum products to the Russian market. According to him, agreements were reached on the supply of up to 100,000 tons of diesel fuel and up to 50,000 tons of gasoline per month.
