Anniversary gifts from Diva continue

“I can only give new songs for the anniversary,” said Alla Pugacheva, thanking fans for their congratulations, sensitivity and attention on “Yellow Flowers Day” – a holiday that the singer’s community of admirers celebrates on the first Sunday of spring, and added, “Wait, my dears fans, just for you!” We didn’t have to wait long; on March 29, the second new release from Pugacheva in a month was released – the ballad “Take Care.”

The previous song, “Don’t Worry About Me,” which emerged from Pugachev’s secret creative depths in early March, is a piercing revelation about oneself, addressed, of course, to both friends and foes: “Do you see the wings behind your back? I always fly into the light, because there is no other road for me… My strength is in your love, I don’t want to change anything, even if my soul is in my blood,” created in collaboration with composer and poet Konstantin Gubin. This author also wrote a new song.

The ballad “Take Care,” filled with Pugachev’s signature “mood with accents,” which only she and no one else is capable of, is no less lyrical and piercing than the previous one, but is now addressed to an invisible counterpart: “Take care of yourself, and I will place beacons along the road.” However, invisible – to put it figuratively. Because in the song this invisible hero is quite tangible and even audible. His name is Evgeny Moiseev. Alla recorded a song in a new duet! Unknown to anyone, Mr. X, about whom little is known yet, except that the newly minted performer lives in America, and by an incredible somersault of fate, his first notable premiere was a duet with Pugacheva herself.

Listeners and fans, for their part, tend to interpret the main message of the song “Take Care of Yourself” as the singer’s concern for everyone who is dear to her. And many people are dear to her – family, relatives, friends, listeners, admirers, simply talented and decent people…

Alla is true to herself, if not in a targeted search for new talents, then in her ease of growth when, as they say, a reason, an occasion or a character appears on her life and creative horizon. In this case, the duet format is justified by both the style and the content of the song, in which the heroine and hero conjure to take care of each other, even if they are “in the palm of God.” A harmonious combination of timbres, feelings, moods, experiences. A kind of crossing of souls…

To the bustle and nervousness around Alla Pugacheva that has revived in the public space, which is directly, of course, related to her upcoming anniversary on April 15, which both fans and detractors of the singer are preparing to meet “fully armed”, the Diva of the stage herself responds in the only true and disarming way : continues to sing. Although, some of her colleagues, citing their age, cowardly refused these exercises – they say “the genre does not tolerate this.”

As Alla Pugacheva proves and shows, everything is not so clear with this “tolerate or not tolerate”, and this ambiguity gives many people hope, including for new songs from the Great. After all, how else, if not with good songs that become classics, should the anniversary of the Woman Who Sings be celebrated!
