All Quiet on the Western Front won seven BAFTAs, including Best Picture

German anti-war drama All Quiet on the Western Front wins prizes British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) for Best Film. The film won a total of six more categories: Best Director (Edward Berger), Film Not in English, Best Adapted Screenplay (based on a novel by Erich Maria Remarque), Best Cinematography, Best Music and Best Sound.
Irish director Martin McDonagh’s Banshee of Inisherin won four BAFTAs: Outstanding British Film, Best Original Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor (Barry Keoghan) and Best Supporting Actress (Kerry Condon).
Elvis also won four awards: Best Actor (Austin Butler), Best Casting, Best Costume Design, Best Makeup and Hairstyle.
Cate Blanchett won the Best Actress award for her lead role in Tar. Awards were also given to the films Navalny (Best Documentary), Pinocchio (Best Animated Film), Everything Everywhere and At Once (Best Editing), and Avatar: The Way of Water (Best Visual Effects).
All Quiet on the Western Front and Banshee of Inisherin claim for nine awards at the 95th Academy Awards. However, the leader in nominations is the film “Everything Everywhere and At Once”, which claims 11 awards.
