Marina Loshak will leave the post of director of the Pushkin Museum, Alexei Venediktov, former editor-in-chief of the Ekho Moskvy radio (recognized as a foreign agent), said on his Telegram channel. Mrs. Loshak informed him that she was resigning from her position due to personal reasons.
“For personal reasons, I am leaving the post of director of the State Museum of Fine Arts. A. S. Pushkin. I am grateful to everyone who has been cooperating with us all these years and helping to make bright exhibition projects,” Mr. Venediktov quotes Marina Loshak as saying.
Ms. Loshak has been in charge of the museum since 2013.
In February, the directors of two other major Russian museums, the Tretyakov Gallery and the State Russian Museum, resigned.
