Ricochet is back

Alexander Ustyugov again takes up arms and, apparently, is again ready to prove that it is not in vain that he is so in demand in the detective genre. In the second season of the Ricochet series, the adventures of Denis Volkov, performed by Ustyugov, reach a new level.

In the finale of the first season of Ricochet, a seriously wounded Volkov, along with his lady Kira (Ekaterina Volkova), tries to escape from a whole gang of villains. The events of the new season unfold after a month and a half. Denis has almost recovered, and logically, he and Kira should have gone as far as possible. Moreover, the disappearance for Volkov is a well-established trick. He was killed back in the nineties, but resurrected twenty years later and, after visiting a plastic surgeon, returned to his hometown for the funeral of his parents.

However, the new face did not become a cap of invisibility for the hero Ustyugov, and the uncompromising character did not allow the hero of the nineties to look indifferently at the criminal revelry of the new owners of the city. In the first season, Volkov quite famously dealt with a whole detachment of gangsters, but not all of them actually died. Apparently, in the city of Aninsk (the name, referring to a typical provincial town, was invented by the scriptwriters, and the nature for this town was found in the Moscow region), some people have the ability to resurrect.

“In the new season, there will be several triumphant resurrections, several shocking transformations, after which the attitude of the audience towards a number of main characters will change one hundred and eighty degrees,” says director and screenwriter Denis Karyshev. “And, of course, we have prepared a gorgeous finale that no one expects.”

The romantic line of the series will also be continued, and Denis and Kira will have many opportunities to test their feelings. “The lines of our heroes are dynamically developing. I like the story that dreams come true if you really, really believe in it and do something for it, ”says Ekaterina Volkova, the female lead.
