The founder of the film company “Amedia” Alexander Akopov ceased to be a co-owner of the online cinema “Amediateka”, follows from the reporting of the main legal entity of the video service (LLC “A Series”), which is cited RBC. Alexander Akopov is a Russian producer, under whose leadership more than 100 television programs and series have been developed and released. In 2002, he founded the Amedia group. In June 2015, Mr. Akopov handed over Leonard Blavatnik owns shares of the film company of the same name (produces series and shows), as well as a stake in the Media City studio (leases film sets).
Revenue of Amediateka at the end of 2022 increased by 39.4% and amounted to 4.78 billion rubles. Net profit increased by 37.1% to RUB 970.7 million.
