Alexander Akopov has been appointed NMG’s new deputy general director for entertainment broadcasting and general director of the STS television channel, the appointment will take effect on November 23, the company told Kommersant. He will replace Vyacheslav Murugov in these positions, who “decided to leave the company,” the report says. Vyacheslav Murugov has headed STS since 2008.
