Airbus to hire 13,000 employees in 2023

On Thursday, January 26, the European aerospace corporation Airbus announced about plans to hire more than 13 thousand employees worldwide this year. 7 thousand people will be hired for new jobs, another 6 thousand will replace employees leaving the company. Now Airbus employs about 130 thousand people, that is, the company’s staff will be expanded by 5%. Most employees – about 9 thousand – the company plans to hire in Europe.
A few weeks ago Airbus informedthat its deliveries of aircraft last year rose by 8%, to 661 pieces. Thus, the company for the fourth time in a row outperformed its main competitor, Boeing, in this indicator.
