Aeroflot will double the number of aircraft at its Krasnoyarsk hub

The Aeroflot group (in addition to the parent airline also includes Rossiya and the low-cost carrier Pobeda) in 2024 will increase the number of aircraft based at Krasnoyarsk Yemelyanovo airport from 6–7 (three Boeing 737-800 and 3–4 SJ100 ) up to 11 in the winter season and 12 in the high summer season, an airline representative told Vedomosti.
In the summer of 2024, six SJ100s, three Boeing 737-800s and three Airbus A319s of Rossiya Airlines will be based at Yemelyanovo. In the winter season, the group will fly from Krasnoyarsk to 24 domestic and international destinations, in the summer – to 33 destinations, of which 24 will be domestic. The carrier expects to increase passenger traffic from Krasnoyarsk by 40% to 1.9 million people in 2024, of which 1.2 million passengers are on flights not to Moscow and St. Petersburg.
