Aeroflot has completed the transition to a new booking and check-in system, and the operation of online services has been resumed. The company announced this in its Telegram channel. The transition was announced in September.
Travel and online agents are ready to serve customers, ticket sales are open, Aeroflot reports. Online check-in is also available for Aeroflot flights and flights under the SU code with numbers 5400-5799 and 5950-6999 of Aurora and Rossiya airlines. The Aeroflot Bonus loyalty program operates as before, the company notes.
“The main online services are already working, but we continue to adapt the new system, so some services will be temporarily unavailable,” the message says.
The fact that Aeroflot will switch to the domestic booking system from November 1 was reported in September TASS. Then the general director of the company, Sergei Aleksandrovsky, announced that Aeroflot would switch to the development of Sirena-Travel and Rostec Leonardo.
In early March, the two largest systems for booking and selling air tickets – the American Saber and the Spanish Amadeus – announced the termination of their distribution relationship with Aeroflot.
