Aeroflot flights to and from the UAE and Egypt have been postponed – Kommersant

Aeroflot (MOEX: AFLT) announced the postponement of departure of several flights from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Egypt and the UAE and in the opposite direction. The decision was made “in order to ensure flight safety.”

How long are flights postponed?

• SU424 Moscow—Hurghada, approximately until 9:00 on April 14;
• SU732 St. Petersburg—Hurghada – approximately until 10:00 on April 14;
• SU524 Moscow—Dubai – approximately until 11:00 on April 14;
• SU520 Moscow—Dubai – approximately until 11:00 on April 14;
• SU422 Moscow-Hurghada – approximately until 10:30 on April 14;
• SU426 Moscow—Sharm El-Sheikh – approximately until 10:30 on April 14;
• SU530 Moscow-Abu Dhabi – approximately until 11:15 on April 14.

As stated in the Aeroflot message in Telegramreturn flights “will also be delayed.”

Rosaviatsia earlier suspended flights of Russian airlines to Iraq, Israel and Jordan against the background launch Iran launched dozens of drones towards Israeli territory. Aeroflot canceled flight Moscow-Tehran. The plane was supposed to land in Makhachkala and fly back to the capital.
