Aeroflot agreed on an insurance settlement for nine aircraft

Aeroflot Airlines (MOEX: AFLT) has completed a settlement with Irish lessor BOC Aviation over nine aircraft (one of which is managed by BOC Aviation). The insurance company NSK received title and paid the settlement amount.
As Aeroflot’s press service reported, lessors have ceased their claims against Russian parties both under insurance policies issued by Russian insurance companies and under leasing agreements with Pobeda and Rossiya airlines.
In October, Aeroflot announced the settlement of a dispute with two other Irish lessors – SMBC Aviation Capital And CDB Aviation. In total, NSK transferred to Aeroflot and received the right to 21 aircraft. In September Aeroflot settled relationship with Irish lessor AerCap regarding the operation of 18 aircraft and five aircraft engines.
