Actress McKellar explained why she became a mathematician and stopped acting

The Wonder Years actress Danica McKellar left acting to pursue a career in mathematics. She explained CNNwhy.
“Most of all I remember how I combined the work of the actress and the performance of school assignments,” she said. Taking a break from her acting career for a while, she became a famous mathematician. McKellar is also the author of 11
“I went to UCLA and people from all over the campus were screaming “Hey Vinnie!” or “Hey, ‘I loved you on The Wonder Years!'” McKellar said of her character on Winnie Cooper.
“I couldn’t get away from it. So I had to figure out how valuable I was outside of Vinnie Cooper, and the math was hard and I was good at it. And I love this feeling that my value, the important things, have nothing to do with how I look or TV.”
She also said that although acting life is hard.
