Actor Sergei Zubenko, known for his roles in the television series “Quiet Don” and “Bad Weather,” died in Omsk at the age of 62. As noted at the Omsk Theater for Young Spectators, where the artist served, Mr. Zubenko’s death occurred “after a serious and long illness.”

In “Bad Weather,” the artist played the role of the city police chief Ivan Sviyagin, and in “Quiet Flows the Don” he played the role of a centurion.

Farewell to the artist will take place on October 5 at the Omsk House of Actors. The funeral of Sergei Zubenko may also take place on the same day.
