The artistic director of the Volkovsky Theater Sergei Puskepalis, who died in an accident, was buried in Zheleznovodsk, Stavropol Territory. This was announced by the head of the city Yevgeny Bakulin in his Telegram channel.
“Today we said goodbye to the actor and artistic director of the Volkov Theater Sergei Puskepalis, who died in an accident. The farewell ceremony lasted several hours,” wrote Mr. Bakulin, noting that hundreds of people came to say goodbye to the actor – relatives and friends, residents and guests of the resort city. In Zheleznovodsk, Mr. Puskepalis lived as a child, TASS reports.
September 22 farewell ceremony took place in Yaroslavl, where the Volkov Theater is located.
Sergey Puskepalis crashed as a result of an accident on the 201st kilometer of the M8 Kholmogory highway in the Rostov region in a collision with a truck on September 20. In addition to him, the theater driver Alexander Sinitsyn died. The truck driver was hospitalized.
