Fermented milk drink Actimel will change its name to Actimuno. The change of name and packaging was announced in a company press release H&N (formerly Danone).
“The probiotic fermented milk product Actimel is localized in Russia and will be produced under the new name Actimuno. The changes will affect the brand name and packaging design,” the company said in a statement.
Manufacturers emphasize that “production technology and product formulation will remain unchanged.” The recipe for the new drink will use the same probiotic strains of lactobacilli in unchanged quantities. The company notes that the drink is produced at the same production facilities as Danone.
Previous title replaced the brand of dairy products “Activia” – on the Russian market it is now “ActiBio”. The changes affected only the brand names and packaging design.
