Abrau-Durso is investing about $4 million in beverage production in India

The Abrau-Durso group of companies plans to invest about $4 million in the production of low-alcohol drinks in India, said Abrau-Durso President Pavel Titov. According to him, the holding has already created a joint venture to implement this project.
He clarified that in the new business structure, 51% of the shares belong to Abrau-Durso. “We plan to actively work in the fast-growing Indian market. Together with local partners, we will improve existing production near New Delhi. Investments will amount to about $4 million,” said “Interfax” Mr. Titov.
He explained that in India it is planned to establish the production of low-alcohol carbonated drinks in the ready-to-drink format, both in cans and bottles.
In October 2023 reportedthat Abrau-Durso has launched its own vodka production. According to Pavel Titov, the new product will complement the company’s line of strong alcohol. By the end of this year, the manufacturer plans to produce 100 thousand bottles.
