A Van Gogh painting stolen three years ago from the Singer Larin Museum was found in the Netherlands. This was reported by RTL Nieuws.
The painting “Spring Garden” (“The Priest’s Garden in Nuenen in Spring”) was painted in 1884. It was stolen on March 30, 2020, from the museum where it was on temporary exhibition. Thieves entered the premises early in the morning by breaking the glass doors.
The painting was found by art detective Arthur Brand in collaboration with the Dutch police. It is noted that the work fell into the hands of a criminal organization. Brand did not disclose who exactly handed over the painting.
