17 years later. From 2002 to 2005, One, Dos, Tres told the tumultuous stories of twenty young Spaniards, students at the Academy of Carmen Arranz, the most select of performing arts schools. For six seasons and 130 episodes, viewers have followed the professional, romantic and friendly adventures of Pedro (Pablo Puyol), Lola (Beatriz Luengo), Roberto (Miguel Angel Munoz), Silvia (Mónica Cruz) and Ingrid (Silvia Marty) and Jero (Raul Pena).
After the end of the series, the Spanish channel Antena 3 had organized for the fifteenth anniversary of the fiction a reunion between the actors in “El reencuentro”. Faced with the good audiences of the show and the nostalgic enthusiasm of the fans, the Astresmedia production had explained that it was considering a sequel for the series.
On August 31, after several years of vagueness, this same production published a trailer on its social networks to formalize new intrigues related to One, Dos, Tres. From September 11 on the Spanish channel six episodes of Stories from UPA Next will be broadcast. A short format that serves as a prequel to a larger series. These stories of about twenty minutes will contextualize the real sequel, named simply UPA Nextand whose release is not yet announced.

In this trailer of barely twenty seconds, three old cult characters appear. Roberto, played by actor Miguel Angel Munoz seen in France in the fifth season of ” Dance with the stars “. But also Silvia embodied by the actress Monica Cruz, and Lola worn by Beatriz Luengo. In July, the latter had also announced on Instagram to start filming UPA Next . “Lola is back”she wrote, all accompanied by a video of the time.
Another returning character is former school principal Carmen Arranz, still played by 87-year-old Lola Herrera. In addition to new faces whose roles and importance are still kept secret, a message appears: “They come back quickly.” For French fans, it will be necessary to be patient because neither the date, nor the platform or broadcast channel have been announced.
