The Tesla Theater Studio Laboratory, held in Vologda from February 22 to 25, has canceled the performance of the play based on the work of writer Linor Goralik (recognized as a foreign agent) “Agatha Returns Home,” follows from a message from the press service of the theater project in “In contact with”.
The report said the performance was canceled because it was produced by a foreign agent. The screening was supposed to take place on February 24 at 15:00. Instead, the play “I want to be” will be shown, reported press service.
Ministry of Justice of Russia announced Ms. Goralik as a foreign agent on August 18, 2023. The Ministry of Justice justified its decision by the fact that the writer, in particular, opposed the military operation on the territory of Ukraine, promoted LGBT relations, and also took part in raising funds in support of Ukraine.
In May 2023, Linor Goralik (recognized as a foreign agent) excluded from the Russian-language competition program of the international literary festival Prima Vista, held in Estonia. The reason was the protest of participants from Ukraine.
