Singer Lolita Milyavskaya lost her spring concert in Omsk
The Ministry of Culture of the Omsk Region reported that the concert of singer Lolita Milyavskaya at the Omsk Philharmonic, which was scheduled for the end of March, will not take place.
In a statement, the department said that “an agreement on the provision of a concert hall site” was reached several months ago, but the agreement was not signed.
“The concert will not be held in Omsk on the indicated dates,” the ministry emphasized.
As Interfax notes, tickets for this concert are still available on several online platforms.
“Caution, news” write, that the cancellation of the concert was preceded by a statement from the local “Council of Atamans of the Cossack People.” Those, according to the channel, accused Lolita of promoting “various kinds of sexual perversions” and called not to hold a concert “in memory of our Cossacks who laid down their lives for Holy Rus’, defending Donbass.”
