A former candidate for Miss France among the professional dancers of “Dancing with the stars”

Of the dozen professional dancers who will accompany the celebrities in season 12 of the TF1 competition, three will make their first appearance on the show, including Calisson Goasdoué.
TF1 will launch the twelfth season of ” Dance with the stars “ from Friday September 9 at 9:10 p.m. with Camille Combal as host. The dance competition will be full of novelty with an unprecedented jury made up of the indestructible Chris Marques, François Alu and, for the first time, Marie-Agnès Gillot and Bilal Hassani. On the floor, twelve personalities from diverse professional backgrounds and with equally diverse notoriety : Amandine Petit, Carla Lazzari, Léa Elui, Eva Queen, Anggun and Clemence Castel on the women’s side. Billy Crawford, Florent Peyre, David Douillet, Théo Fernandez, Stéphane Legar and Thomas Da Costa for men.
To accompany them, the production recalled eight dance professionals who had already appeared in “Dancing with the stars” in recent years: Candice Pascal, Christophe Licata, Fauve Hautot, Anthony Colette, Jordan Mouillerac, Inès Vandamme, Elsa Bois, Adrien Caby and the returning Katrina Patchett. Among the other three, totally new, Alizée Bois, little sister of Elsa, was integrated with her eight titles of French dance champion. Finally, two qualified via the program “Who will dance with the stars?” broadcast since August 26 on MyTF1. Nine professional dancers were in competition and, at the end of the three selection stages, Pierre Mauduy, the winner, and Calisson Goasdoué, the jury’s favourite, were selected.
The latter, a sports coach in a fitness room and a 24-year-old dance teacher, has been competing for five years. During “Who will dance with the stars? », the jurors Chris Marques and Julien Chapero had particularly appreciated the quality of his lessons and his ability to intelligently transmit his knowledge to his partner. Calisson Goasdoué’s first television experience could have taken place within the framework of the Miss France contest since she participated in a regional election. From the height of her 74 meters, the young woman from Saclas in Essonne, then a student in a master’s degree in Teaching, Education and Training, had obtained the scarf of third runner-up and that of the prize of sympathy of Miss Ile-de-France 2020 (Lara Lourenço).
