As the United Press Service of the Courts of St. Petersburg reported on Monday, September 25, during an unscheduled inspection after a series of poisonings in the city with Greenbox culinary products, which were delivered using Samokat, a number of gross violations were identified in the activities of the service.
“When selling food products, storage conditions and expiration dates of food products are not observed; storage and sale of low-quality food (edible) raw materials and finished food products is allowed. Five types of food products with a total weight of 15 kg 580 grams were withdrawn from sale and rejected as food waste due to violation of the storage temperature conditions and lack of information on the labeling about the date of manufacture,”— reported press service.
In addition, it was found that the company also did not have cleaning equipment, employees did not observe personal hygiene rules, there were no disinfectants for cleaning in the premises, and there was not even a special place for them. Serious complaints have also been recorded regarding courier backpacks with thermal bags that were not treated with special means. The employees were not fully provided with sanitary clothing, and insects were found on the premises of the enterprise.
During the court hearing, the Samokat representative did not refute all of the above violations, saying that they had been eliminated. This, however, did not save the company from a fine.
