TASS, citing the case materials, writes that the fine is related to the publication of videos on YouTube, which allegedly contained false information about Russia’s military operation in Ukraine.
From the case materials cited by the agency, it follows that Roskomnadzor discovered videos on YouTube that contained information about Russian military personnel killed on the territory of Ukraine during hostilities. Roskomnadzor indicated that this information was not true. The regulator sent an order to Google, which owns YouTube, to remove these videos, but the company did not comply with the request.

On November 23, the Moscow court also fined company for 4 million rubles. for YouTube videos discrediting the Russian army.
