The chain of luxury goods stores “Blind Hen” will open two flagship stores on the site of Victoria’s Secret and Zara Home in one of the largest Moscow shopping centers in Moscow – the Metropolis shopping center. The store in the Victoria’s Secret location will sell shoes and accessories. The second store will be a classic optical store and will open on the site of the closed Zara Home point opposite. The first store will open in January 2024, the optical salon will open on April 1. The area of ​​each new store will be 600 square meters. m. Mikhail Molchanov will invest 300 million rubles in their opening. of their funds, taking into account the purchase of goods.

In November, Blind Chicken will open an optical store in the Mega Khimki shopping center on the site where Tommy Hilfiger previously operated. The volume of investments in the project will be 90 million rubles. The approximate payback period for all stores is one and a half to two years.

The chain of optical stores under the Blind Chicken brand has been operating since 2017. The salon sells frames for medical glasses, lenses, sunglasses and accessories from luxury brands, such as Chanel, Burberry, Gucci, Prada.

Now the chain operates 18 points – 16 optical stores, a shoe store and a department store (multi-brand department store). “Blind Hen” opened stores of shoes and accessories of premium brands for the first time in November 2022. The first store opened in Afimall.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the revenue of the first legal entity of the chain – the Saratov-based “Blind Chicken” – last year amounted to 478 thousand rubles, net profit – 29 thousand rubles. The revenue of the Moscow “Blind Hen”, registered in August last year, is 14.5 million rubles, and the net profit is 22 thousand rubles.

As Kommersant found out, while some Western retailers left the Russian market due to the military conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, the Italian clothing chain OVS, on the contrary, decided to return to the country. The brand, which left Russia ten years ago, opens its first stores in the country.
