The chain of optical stores under the Blind Chicken brand has been operating since 2017. The salon sells frames for medical glasses, lenses, sunglasses and accessories from luxury brands, such as Chanel, Burberry, Gucci, Prada.

Now the chain operates 18 points – 16 optical stores, a shoe store and a department store (multi-brand department store). “Blind Hen” opened stores of shoes and accessories of premium brands for the first time in November 2022. The first store opened in Afimall.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the revenue of the first legal entity of the chain – the Saratov-based “Blind Chicken” – last year amounted to 478 thousand rubles, net profit – 29 thousand rubles. The revenue of the Moscow “Blind Hen”, registered in August last year, is 14.5 million rubles, and the net profit is 22 thousand rubles.

As Kommersant found out, while some Western retailers left the Russian market due to the military conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, the Italian clothing chain OVS, on the contrary, decided to return to the country. The brand, which left Russia ten years ago, opens its first stores in the country.
