2022 changes Russia’s strategy in the gas sector
[ad_1]
2022 was marked by a sharp drop in Russian pipeline gas deliveries to Europe, which has been a key market for Gazprom for decades. This has become the main factor influencing the work of the entire Russian gas industry and the prospects for its development, experts say. During the year, supplies were gradually cut off or reduced along all gas pipelines running from Russia to Europe, except for the Black Sea Turkish Stream.
Because of the sanctions of the European Union (EU) against Russia, because of the NWO in Ukraine, it became impossible to pump gas through the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline in transit through Poland. But in fact, transportation along this route has not been carried out since the end of 2021. Since May, gas transit through Ukraine has also decreased, since Kyiv stopped accepting Gazprom’s applications for pumping through the Sokhranivka gas metering station on May 11 due to hostilities in the Donbass.
