A plane from Harbin made an emergency landing in Yakutsk due to a fire alarm.

Aircraft (MOEX: SMLT) Sukhoi Superjet 100, flying from Harbin, China to Yakutsk, made an emergency landing at the destination airport, it was reported RBC in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of Sakha. The reason for the emergency landing was the activation of a fire sensor in the luggage compartment.
According to information TASS, there were 39 people on board: 30 passengers and 9 crew members. All of them were evacuated. Upon external inspection, arriving firefighters did not find any open burning, but there was a smell of smoke, the agency reports.
This is not the first time such incidents have occurred with the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft. December 1, 2023 due to a malfunction at the departure airport back Sukhoi Superjet 100 of Iraro Airlines, flying from Novosibirsk to Talakan. On January 25 of this year, a Sukhoi Superjet 100 of Azimut Airlines took off from Ufa to Omsk, but back to the Bashkir airport for technical reasons.
According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, on average there are about 800 aviation incidents per year, 60% of which are equipment failures. However, as Kommersant found out, Western sanctions introduced in 2022 have not yet affected the flight safety indicators of Russian civil aviation.
