Tesla Company filed suing the Swedish Transport Agency. The lawsuit was filed in the Swedish city of Norrkoping after employees of the agency’s PostNord postal service boycotted the dispatch of Tesla license plates produced in the country last week. Postal employees took this step as a sign of solidarity with workers at Tesla’s Swedish automobile plants, who went on strike a month ago, demanding higher wages and recognition of the right to form a trade union.
Elon Musk named the insanity of the actions of the Swedish postal employees who refused to send license plates, and decided to sue the agency. According to unofficial data CNN, the Norrköping court issued a preliminary ruling in favor of Tesla, saying that the Swedish Transport Agency was contractually obligated to send the manufactured goods to the American company. If the agency does not do this within a week, it may be fined 1 million Swedish kronor ($96 thousand). The agency intends to appeal this decision. Tesla has not yet commented on reports of the preliminary court decision.
