The manufacturer of audio equipment Harman, which owns the JBL brand, is seeking compensation for the infringement of its patents from the owner of the brand of Vipe music centers, as well as M.Video and Eldorado. Harman is one of the most active plaintiffs in patent disputes and has only increased the number of claims since the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine. Lawyers believe that the company intends to protect its intellectual property, regardless of how widely it has an official presence in Russia.
