The products of the M.Video-Eldorado group of companies appeared on the marketplace “Yandex.Market,” the retailer’s press service told Vedomosti.
“The retailer has become the largest partner of the marketplace in terms of the number of self-delivery stores. Now, when ordering on the marketplace, goods “M Video” and “Eldorado” can be obtained by self-delivery at 10,000 Yandex.Market pick-up points throughout Russia. Eldorado products will be available in more than 640 chain stores throughout Russia,” the statement said.
It is clarified that M.Video-Eldorado and Yandex.Market offer two ways to deliver goods. In particular, the order can be picked up on the day of its registration from Eldorado stores. In this case, pickup will be available within 30 minutes after the order is processed. Also, the buyer will be able to pick up the goods at any convenient time from the points of issue of the order or arrange delivery through the Yandex.Market courier, which will deliver the order directly to the client. It is expected that the 1-2 hour express delivery function will be launched soon.
The fact that “M.Video-Eldorado” agreed on a partnership with “Yandex.Market and return to the marketplace, Vedomosti reported in May 2022.
M.Video also already had a showcase on Yandex.Market, but in December 2014 the retailer left the site. According to the former top manager of M.Video, Yandex.Market at that time was focused on working with small and medium-sized businesses and lowered M.Video in the search results, despite large investments in the retailer’s advertising on the site. Another reason for abandoning the partnership was M.Video’s active struggle against gray imports, the source added. According to him, given the fact that parallel imports have been legalized, the company’s decision to return to the site may mean a change in course.
