The largest coal producer in Russia, the Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK), will invest $1 billion in increasing production and mining equipment in 2023, CEO of the company Maxim Basov spoke about this on a direct line for employees. SUEK reflected the key points from it in a press release.
Investments will be used to increase the capacity of mining enterprises in the Primorsky, Khabarovsk Territories and Kuzbass, purchase new high-performance equipment and support processing plants, the release says. Under the conditions of Western sanctions, the company plans to purchase new equipment in Russia, Belarus, China, India, Turkey and South Africa.
