The Federal Air Transport Agency has announced an additional selection among airlines for reimbursement of operating expenses for domestic flights. In September, the department reported that the funds were freed up due to the reduction of subsidies for seven carriers, in particular, 2.4 billion rubles, or almost a third of the original amount, should be returned by UTair. The funds will be redistributed among 12 airlines, “which today have exceeded the previously announced plan,” Rosaviatsia explained.

In August, the department reported on the distribution of subsidies between Russian airlines and airports. They were transferred 54 billion rubles. The Federal Air Transport Agency then clarified that the total budget of the four state support programs for the aviation industry is 125.5 billion rubles.
