The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) sent a letter to American Apple demanding to explain why contactless payment systems (Mir Pay, SberPay, Tinkoff Pay and others) from Russian companies are blocked on the company’s devices. “The company’s actions contain signs of violation of antimonopoly legislation. Apple creates preferential conditions for its own applications and applications of third-party developers registered outside of Russia, as well as the Apple Pay payment system, compared to applications of Russian developers and Russian payment systems,” the FAS said in a statement.
