Kazakhstani investment company Aqniet Capital LLP (Aqniet) increased its stake in Globaltrans Investment PLC by 0.5%. Now it is 26.69%.
“Aqniet currently controls 32.12% of the voting shares of the company and will hold 32.12% of the issued share capital and corresponding voting shares of the company upon the closing of the ‘transactions in progress’, which is expected no later than the second half of 2024,” it said. The 32.12% shares include 5.43% in respect of which binding acquisition agreements have been entered into and powers of attorney have been issued with respect to related voting rights. At the beginning of 2023, Aqniet bought out the shares of the main shareholders of Globaltrans and became the owner of 26.19% of the company’s issued share capital.
