A Russian perfume manufacturer is suing Calvin Klein over the Flame trademark.

The Lemonade company, which produces home perfumes, including under the Flame Moscow brand, wants to sue the American Calvin Klein for the Flame trademark. She filed a corresponding lawsuit demanding termination of its protection due to non-use on September 8 in the Intellectual Property Rights Court. There are no other details in the case file yet. Lemonade declined to comment, and Calvin Klein did not respond to Vedomosti’s requests. A representative of Rospatent, which acts as a third party in the dispute, said that the service has not yet received the statement of claim.
“Lemonade” has been selling perfumes and luxury perfumes for the home for seven years: candles, sprays and diffusers, incense, solid perfumes, creams and sanitizers with scents. The company itself belongs to businessman Pavel Pakhomkin. Its revenue in 2022 amounted to 141 million rubles.
