UAC to set up drone manufacturing venture with Glory Air

“The partners are planning to organize the production of a line of aircraft-type drones with the ability to take off and land vertically. The potential of a number of solutions is being assessed in the range of payload mass from 20 to 200 kg.

As stated by the CEO UAC Yuri Slyusar, whose words were cited by the press service, the interaction of the companies will make it possible to form a “demanded line of solutions and claim significant positions in the Russian market.”

UAC was founded in 2006. Now the Russian corporation is one of the largest in Europe. As follows from the company’s website, the enterprises included in its structure produce aircraft of the Su, MiG, Il, Tu, Yak, Be brands, as well as new ones – Superjet and MS-21. At the end of 2022 the government reportedthat will send UAC almost 900 million rubles. in 2023 to create a wide-body long-range aircraft.

Glory Air, founded in 2011, is engaged in the supply of industrial and commercial unmanned aerial vehicles for various purposes. The company uses world developments in the field of UAVs and improves them to Russian standards, the website says.
