Zhaparov proposed to allow migrant workers to draw up documents remotely

The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, believes that the EAEU countries should allow migrants to draw up the documents necessary for employment in a remote format. As a first step, he proposed to work out the possibility of recognizing the results of a medical examination passed in the country of departure, similar to the operation of the “I travel without COVID-19” application.

“Working citizens of our countries should have facilitated conditions for exercising their labor rights on the territory of any of the member states of the union. Modern technologies make it possible to significantly simplify the passage of the required administrative procedures for state employment by our citizens. It is necessary to provide an opportunity for citizens to perform the actions required for employment in another country in electronic format, including being in the country of their nationality,” Mr. Zhaparov said at a meeting of the Supreme Economic Council of the EAEU. The meeting of the Supreme Economic Council of the EAEU is being held at the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow.
